For smooth or delicate surfaces, you may stick masking tape inside the wooden bars to improve the friction.

We use N52 neodymium magnets that support heavier items compared to usual magnets.  However, please beware of the thickness of your artwork or the surfaces having a lot of texture where the magnets may not perform as expected.  Nevertheless, if that happens, we are one click away for a full refund of your purchase.
